On September 29,1854, Raft Swamp Baptist Church was formed and constituted. From that day to this, our Church has been faithful to God, His Son Jesus Christ, and to His missions.
The Robeson Baptist Association was organized at Raft Swamp Baptist Church on November 1,1883, when 26 missionary Baptist Churches formed the association.
We are still very active in missions and the support of missions here at Raft Swamp. We are always grateful for the opportunities that God presents to us to carry His Word to a lost and dying world and to share the good news of the Salvation of Jesus Christ, as all Christians are directed to do by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Raft Swamp Baptist Church is a traditional Bible believing Baptist Church; the Gospel of Jesus is preached and taught here.
We are located "in the country" on Highway 72, just outside of Lumberton, NC. We would love to have you come visit with us, whether you are looking for a church or just to visit, the doors are open to everyone.
